I develop a new crush...
I have a confession to make.

Much as I like Lee Jun Ki in Iljimae (and he is adorable), so far, my heart belongs to Shi Hoo, the intense, gorgeous, and angsty fake!son of the corrupt noble.



I want him and Eun Chae to hook up so badly. Or, since chances look slim as he is Secondary Guy, for him to get some happiness somewhere.

Shi Hoo!!!! He is so awesome! I hope his story doesn't end tragically, although perhaps that is hoping for a bit much. Instead, I will hope that he takes his shirt off some more. That seems more realistic.

LJK doesn't always look feminine. He looked quite masculine in Dog/Wolf. But yeah, normally he isn't the butchest.

I like both 'manly' :p kdrama guys like LSJ and SIG and the pretty ones, like LJK and Bae Yong Joon. I guess I am just easy :)

SH and EC do have all the makings of a classic kdrama angst!OTP, but it seems EC and Yong will end up in tragic!angst!love. I find that kind of odd, because it's on episode six and EC and Yong, have had, what five minutes of screen time together as adults. (that may be wrong, as I only skimmed through eps. 5 and 6) [Though, I guess EC and Yong's childhood meeting is supposed to make up for that?]


It's only a 20 episode show, so if I'm supposed to be cheering for Yong and EC, they need to get with that. As of right now, I can totally understand why people are OTP'ing SH&EC and Yong&BS.



The show may be a "historical" drama with slices of hurt/comfort and comedy, but they need to sort out the romance bits. I want to 'ship Yong/EC. but right now I'd rather SH/EC.

That seems to be the case so it's a bit odd.

I don't ship anyone right now, and don't particularly care how it sorts itself out romantically (which is good, I suppose). I can buy any combos or none, which is rare for me because usually I am such a shipper (HGD being a case in point).

I think the reason the romance has been down played is because the story is meant to be about his rise to being a hero. I know its based off a comic, and I think there was no romance there. So, who knows? Maybe the romance will kick in during the middle of the series like in The Legend?.





No, I don't really 'ship anyone. Truth be told, I'm not overly emotionally invested in anyone yet. That's odd for me, as I'm usually invested in someone by episode four. I do, however, feel very sorry for the four leads, as they all went through so much at young ages.
